Thankfully thats never happened to me lol but it has been closed twice while i have been at the bottom, they close it at something like 32mph at the top if i remember but dont quote me on that :S

quotes mate u would struggle to predict the weather for the same day at fort william, it will change at the drop of a hat, what u dont want is wind because they close the lift quite easily at nevis but for good reason, u can get blown straight off ur bike at the top! dont worry about the rain tho because the track at fort will never seems to change that much in the rain, just in the woods. u can bank on it raining at least once in any weekend in my experience :P

ah ok i had heard that a few jumps had been built up thats all and yh there is some good lines up there we ride there every time we go there is also some stuff if u come out to the road form the fr and go right towards town and just as that bit of forest ends theres a gap in the wall there is a nice little drop up there and some more lines
